An extraordinary adventure to four Southeast Asian cities, from sleek Singapore to bustling Bangkok, heavenly Ho Chi Minh City to captivating Kuala Lumpur - includes breakfast and travel

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The hum of Ho Chi Minh City is unmistakable, from the market stalls to the towering buildings, hanging washing lines and whizzing mopeds, this is a city full of movement. While you’re here, be sure to get your share of history, from the War Remnants Museum to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which give an eerie insight into the subterranean life of Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. There are myriad markets to explore, including the well-known Ben Thanh and the smaller (and cheaper) markets of the outer districts. Some must-dos include eating your weight in Pho, and enjoying roadside Ca Phe (morning coffee).

Singapore

You’ll then continue to the fascinating island-nation of Singapore, famous for its melting pot of cultures, delicious food and fabulous shopping opportunities. Gardens by the Bay presents futuristic greenery and incredible sculptures, while Sentosa, an island connected to Singapore, boasts a beautiful beach which can be accessed by a jaw-dropping cable car ride. Jurong Bird Park is also well worth a visit, giving you another taste of the jungle, with plenty of bird life to keep you company.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur makes a fascinating amalgamation of cultures and architectural styles, with British-colonial buildings sitting alongside soaring skyscrapers and minareted mosques. The Batu Caves, just outside of the city, are one of the most popular sights, thanks to their towering golden Hindu statue standing guard outside. If you’re a foodie then don’t miss out on Jalan Alor, a lively strip in the Bukit Bintang area where you can find delicious seafood.

Bangkok, Thailand

Yet another bustling city, Bangkok has so much to keep you occupied during your three-night stay. If you’re after more markets, look no further than Chatuchak for clothes, or Wang Lang for true Thai street food. The highlights of the city are undoubtedly the temples - from Wat Arun, otherwise known as the Dawn Temple, with its colourful stupas, to Wat Pho and its resident reclining Buddha, there’s enough spiritualism here to keep you occupied for weeks.

Good to know

This holiday allows you to spread the cost of your break by paying only the deposit upfront. The remaining balance is due at a later date and is to be paid directly to the holiday supplier (the exact date will be stated on your booking confirmation).

Please note that your inbound and outbound flights are over night, so be sure to take this into account when planning the time you'll be away.

Can't commit to booking right now?

Hold a date for only £25 while you decide.

  • Pay £25 to hold a date until the end of the sale.
  • If you choose to buy it, the money will go towards your purchase, if not, the cash will be credited to your Secret Escapes account.

Important: Please note, this is not a deposit, complete or guaranteed booking; holding the date simply prevents other members from swooping in and booking your preferred date while you're still having a think about it. Secret Escapes will not be liable for expenses incurred should that date not be available to book and a hold is cancelled.

For more details, please see our FAQ page.

What is a deposit?

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).

We've added deposit-only sales to enable our members to get early-bird access to more amazing holidays, and because we know that planning and paying for a holiday can take time.
