Windsor Road, Water Oakley, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 5UR

With its imposing turrets, neo-Gothic architecture and stately grounds, you’d be forgiven for believing you’d arrived at Windsor Castle itself upon approaching this regal Berkshire hotel. You wouldn’t be far off either – the royal castle is just 10 minutes away by car.

Film buffs may already be familiar with the hotel's splendid gothic architecture – the house has been used as the set for several Hammer Horror movies and, most famously, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Windsor Castle, Legoland and Kew Gardens are all close by, as is elegant Windsor itself, with its plentiful shops and history-rich streets.
