Day 1: UK - Monte Carlo, Monaco

Fly from your departure airport in the UK to Nice Airport, where you'll travel by group transfer to Port Hercules, about a 40-minute drive away. Start off on a strong foot in glitzy and glamorous Monte Carlo, where you could spend your time at leisure strolling the Jardin de la Petite Afrique, marvelling at the Prince's Palace and feeling lucky at Casino Monte-Carlo, before embarking on your cruise at 11pm. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 2: Saint-Tropez, France

Arrive in Saint-Tropez at 7am and spend your time here at leisure, before hopping back on board to depart at 6pm. Saint-Tropez brims with classic French Riviera charm, whether you're relaxing on Pampelonne beach, getting your fill of art at the Maison des Papillons Musée Dany Lartigue, or discovering the local maritime history at the Citadel of Saint-Tropez. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 3: Portofino, Italy

Arrive in Portofino at 8am and spend some time at leisure, admiring the ultra-pretty harbour and taking in historic sites - from the Chiesa di San Giorgio to Castello Brown, the latter offering splendid panoramas and a lovely leafy setting. Head back to your ship to depart at 6pm. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 4: Ajaccio, Corsica, France

Arrive in Ajaccio, Corsica's capital city on the French island's western coast, at 8am. Spend your time at leisure discovering this laid-back island's varied landscape and many charms, from the stark red Calanques de Piana cliffs to colourful streets and postcard-perfect squares - people-watching by Ajaccio Cathedral is a must-do. Board your ship to depart at 6pm. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 5: Porto Torres, Sardinia, Italy

It's on to Sardinia next, where you'll dock in Porto Torres at 7am and spend your day at leisure, before departing at 6pm. This Italian town holds much to please all manner of travellers, whether you're looking to top up your tan on Balai beach, admire bobbing boats on a stroll along the pretty marina, or get your fill of history at the Aragonese Tower and Archaeology Park & Museum. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 6: Mahón, Menorca, Spain

Arrive in Mahón today at around 9am. Here you'll have the chance to discover traditional Georgian buildings and landmarks filled with history, including the Santa María Church, Mola Fortress and Museo de Menorca, before perhaps feasting on local tapas with views of the port. Depart at 6pm. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 7: Valencia, Spain

Valencia is next on the agenda: dock here around 9am to get to know one of Spain's most entrancing cities, before disembarking to leave at 6pm. Just a few ways to pass the time here include visiting the impressive City of Arts and Sciences, taking in the architecturally stunning Lonja de la Seda, and feasting on local delicacies at the Central Market. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 8: Barcelona, Spain - UK

Arrive in Barcelona at 8am, to enjoy one of Spain's liveliest cities. Whether you're discovering Gaudí's celebrated landmarks, tasting your way across the city's tapas bars or reclining on one of several beaches, you won't soon tire of discovering the best that this buzzing city has to offer. From here, you'll catch your flight back home to the UK. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Please note, shore excursions on the first and last days of a cruise are only available for guests who are combining back-to-back voyages to create a longer cruise.

What is a deposit?

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).

We've added deposit-only sales to enable our members to get early-bird access to more amazing holidays, and because we know that planning and paying for a holiday can take time.
